Hello everyone!
September is here, and for many of us a new beginning for many activities and picking up interests that we left slumbering for the summer months.
We are turning our gaze inwards as the skies display wonderful cloud formations and temperatures steer us to being indoors.
It is a perfect time to pick up or explore the healing practice of reiki.
With hands-on by several practitioners a 15 minute treatment is like a power surge of reiki energy flowing to and through you.
Practitioners, bring your questions and share experiences. For those new to reiki,  have an open mind and feel free to experience reiki and ask questions.
We have again the wonderful peaceful yoga studio surrounded by beautiful nature in Stoney Creek. It is easy accessible from Hwy #20,/ Centennial Pkwy, as well as Ridge Road if you choose for a scenic drive.
Bring an extra pair of clean socks and water to drink.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP AT TINA'S COUNTRY RETREAT

One Day Healing Workshop

Saturday, June 28^th from 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

Cost: $80.00 including Lunch & Snacks

This will be a day of fun activities such as drumming and chanting, listening and exploring ideas such as karma and reincarnation. There will be sharing of experiences and creations.

Come join us for a day full of wonder; wonder-full!

Rinske will take us through the day with drumming, movement, chanting and speak about karma and reincarnation. She will also lead us through exercises with dream work and poetry. There will be ample room for questions and comments throughout the day.

Lunch and snacks will be provided by Tina, who will be the host of this event at her beautiful country retreat just outside Campbelleville, Milton.

Drumming and chanting

If you have never touched a drum and feel shy to do it, this is your chance to try it; you can’t go wrong! If you have a drum, please let us know and bring it. You may be an experienced drummer and add strength to the beat! Hand drums, djembee, bongos, all are welcome! Rattles, shakers, anything that can be used as percussion, bring it. We are going to have some fun!

We might explore even chanting with the drums, or chant on its own. Chakra clearing with chanting is very wonderful, and healing at the same time.  

Reincarnation and karma

Rinske will speak on the topic as she studied it extensively over the past 40 years. Her most detailed information on the topic she learned from the great Austrian teacher, philosopher, scientist and clairvoyant Rudolf Steiner (founder of Waldorf Education and much more). She has however not excluded other’s insights and found the commonalities in information that has come her way. We will touch on the subject of life between death and rebirth, and the learning tasks we set ourselves in that realm for our next life on planet earth.

A group conversation about this broad topic will be facilitated by Rinske after her presentation.

Dreams and poetry

Rinske will speak briefly about the subject and then lead us into experiential learning.

Rather than dream analysis, this particular way of working with dreams can lead us to our heart and into a quality of soul which we can recognize in poetry.

REIKI SHARE SUNDAY JANUARY 5TH

Hello everyone,

On this last day of 2013, it is a wonderful occasion to look back on the year past and make incentives for the New Year.

It has been for many a stormy year and especially the last few weeks seem to have culminated in days of upheaval. January 1^st will coincide with a New Moon which always helps for making new beginnings.

Whether jobs, relationships, housing, income, they are possibly in process of change for some of you. Irritation, anger, fear come with this influence.

Reiki can help keep our balance and stay grounded, be patient, and live in the present moment which helps us “sail” through stormy weather.

The five precepts of Reiki kept in mind and repeating to your self through the day help to stay focused in the moment.

Just for today, do not worry

Just for today, do not get angry

Just for today, be humble and grateful

Just for today, work diligently

Just for today, be kind to all and harm no living creature

Memorize them, or write them on a small piece of paper which you can carry in your pocket or purse.

I will be hosting a reiki share this Sunday January 5^th at 1:30pm-4pm
