Find the right angle to hold it and look everywhere, on all objects you see in front of you and around you.
You will see the three 'warm' colours: red, orange and yellow,and you will see the 'cool' colours: turquoise, blue and purple at the other end. When you move the prism slightly, you will see the colours merging closer to each other and there appears the colour green where blue and yellow meet.
Play with it, explore to see that where darkness (matter) comes into the light the 'warm' colours appear (compare with the setting sun). You will also discover that where light shines into darkness, the 'cool' colours appear (compare to light shining into orbit or under water in the deep oceanic world).

Hello my name is Rinske Salverda,
I am an artistic therapist, an OCSWSSW registered counselor, artist and CRA certified Reiki Master Practitioner. In this blog I am going to show you how Artistic Therapy as well as Reiki can benefit you and your loved ones. There will be announcements of upcoming events and courses, both in artistic therapy as well as in Reiki training and attunements.
The mediums I work with in artistic therapy are watercolour paints and pastels, black & white drawing and clay modelling. I will be posting ideas, inspirations and interesting links to events, as well as highlighting other healing practitioners and websites.
If you have told yourself that art is not for you and that you are anything but creative, I am here to tell you that each one of us is creative and unique. If you can hold a paintbrush or put a pencil on paper then this can be the beginning of your creative, healing, journey.
It is important to remember that while your are engaged in the creative process and journaling about the experience, to keep your eyes open for the artist that is hidden in you.
Reiki energy helps to enhance emotional and physical healing for yourself and your pets as well. it helps on your journey for personal growth. I will be here to answer your questions and to share insights.
Artistic therapy as well as Reiki helps you to get in touch with your feelings, and with the heart. We can learn again to live from the heart!
Our first exercise.
Here is an exercise that is very effective to relieve stress and calm the nerves: with a soft pencil, draw waves on a fair size paper that you lay in horizontal position on a flat surface. Repeat the same movement from the left margin to the end of the paper. Try a steady movement going out to the rounding of the wave and then inward so that it becomes a breathing movement repeated till you have completely filled the paper.
As a matter of fact, any handwriting is actually good for the nerves. Try it and observe your experience.
